Community Safety Unit
The Community Safety Unit (CSU) is responsible for the investigation of hate crimes within the Borough of Greenwich. Hate crime is defined as ‘Any incident that is perceived by the victim, or any other person, to be racist, homophobic, transphobic or due to a person’s religion, belief, gender identity or disability’. The CSU is also responsible for the investigation of Domestic Violence, vulnerable adult abuse, elderly person abuse and forced marriage issues. The unit is staffed by both male and female officers who are specially trained to deal with these crimes. The unit is committed to working in partnership with both the statutory and voluntary organisations in the borough to improve the quality of life for the residents.

Youth Group
The Metro Centre
Under 16s Welcome / Full Disability Access. Metro run three social groups: Tribe (16 and under) & Chillin’ Out (under 26) in Greenwich and SNAP, (under 26) in Bromley plus a youth counselling service, crisis support, drug and alcohol support and family therapy plus the Anchor Project working with suicide and self-harm.
