The Metropolitan Police Service is committed to giving all victims of crime a professional and sensitive service.

The Community Safety Unit (CSU) is responsible for the investigation of hate crimes within the Borough of Wandsworth. This includes racist crime, domestic violence, homophobic crime and hate mail. Both male and female officers, who are specially trained to deal with these crimes, staff the unit. It is also responsible for maintaining the register of missing persons. The unit is committed to working in partnership with both the statutory and voluntary organisations in the borough to improve the quality of life for the residents.

To contact this Community Safety Unit, dial 020 8874 5092.

To e-mail the Community Safety on any non-emergency matter please click on wwmissingpersons@yahoo.co.uk

There is an answer phone for out of hours calls. All enquiries will be dealt with confidentially and the caller will be dealt with in a discreet and sensitive manner.

The Haven is a special unit, attached to Kings College Hospital, which provides medical help and advice, counselling and support by specially trained, experienced professionals to anyone living in south London who has been sexually assaulted.

This service is provided confidentially and will not involve the police unless you specifically request it. Click here or on The Haven logo for more information.
