REPORTING A HATE CRIME
If you have been a victim of a homophobic or transphobic crime, it is important that you report it. There are several ways you can report the crime. In an emergency, call 999
GALOP: London's LGBT anti-violence and police-monitoring charity, with a helpline offering advice on how to deal with the police. Galop will assist you in your report while maintaining confidentiality. GALOP Shoutline: 020 7704 2040.

Call your local Community Safety Unit which has special responsibilities in hate crime. You can ask to speak to an LGBT liaison officer.

National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACOA) has a free helpline for children of alcoholics which provides listening, advice and links with other services.
