Man convicted of murder of Chrissie Azzopardi

Romy Maynard has been convicted for the murder of transgender woman, Chrissie Azzopardi. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment and must serve a minimum of 18 years.

Hearing Diverse Voices, community meeting at New Scotland Yard, second announcement

You are invited to Hearing Diverse Voices, our community meeting on Wednesday 23 October 2013, 6:00 pm at New Scotland Yard.  

This is an opportunity to hear from you about your experiences of Met policing. We will be asking you to participate in focused discussions on specific themes regarding homophobic and transphobic crime and police engagement with the community.

Commander Adrian Hanstock has confirmed attendance to take part in the discussion.

Murder of Robert Troyan update

The trial of the murder of Robert Troyan has been postponed to next week. A man has been charged with murder and fraud. Trial is expected to last six weeks.
